What verification is

Verification runs before the payment.

The event.

Pruva verifies the event against outside sources.

The ticket.

Pruva reads the ticket the seller uploads and weighs what it finds.

Then the money.

The buyer's card is only authorized at checkout. The payment goes through if the tickets pass verification. If they don't, the authorization is canceled and the buyer isn't charged.

It's verification, not a promise that a ticket will scan at the door. We say that to your buyers the same way we say it to ours. We don't publish what we gather, how it's scored, or how any of it is verified. Scammers change, so what we verify changes with them. When we add something, every deal gets it.
