This Policy explains what information Pruva collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It applies to buyers, sellers, and visitors to getpruva.com.
Pruva is verification technology for peer-to-peer live-event ticket transactions. We are not a bank, money transmitter, or payment processor. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on Pruva's systems.
The Service is offered only in the United States, only to people 18 or older, and is not offered to residents of California.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information you give us
Account information. When you create an account or sign in, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the identifiers associated with your login, through our authentication provider.
Transaction information. Details you enter to create or accept a Transaction, including the event, date, venue, seat or section, quantity, and price.
Verification evidence. To verify a Transaction, sellers upload evidence of the ticket. This typically includes screenshots, PDFs, order or confirmation emails, and screenshots showing possession of a ticket in a ticketing app.
This evidence commonly contains personal information, including your name, the name on the ticketing account, barcodes or ticket codes, order numbers, seat and section details, and anything else visible in the file you upload. Upload only what is needed to evidence the ticket.
Seller onboarding information. Sellers complete onboarding with our payment processor. That process is operated by the payment processor, which collects and verifies the information it requires, including identity and bank details. Pruva sends the payment processor your name, email, phone, and business profile information, and does not collect or store your Social Security number, tax identification number, or bank account details.
Communications. Information you provide when you contact us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
Device and app identifiers, operating system and browser type, IP address, log data, and the actions you take in the Service. On our website we use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 8.
2.3 Information we do not collect
We do not process facial recognition data, fingerprints, or other biometric identifiers. We do not perform face detection or facial analysis on uploaded evidence. Photographs may appear within a document you upload, and that document is processed as an image, but no facial analysis is performed on it.
We do not store payment card numbers. Card details are entered into our payment processor's interface and handled by the payment processor.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to:
- create and maintain your account, and authenticate you;
- present and administer Transactions;
- run Verification and deliver its result;
- process payment through our payment processor, including authorization, capture, and cancellation;
- communicate with you about Transactions, including notifications about a Verification outcome;
- provide support and respond to your messages;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims; and
- with your consent, measure and improve the website as described in Section 8.
4. AUTOMATED VERIFICATION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
4.1 Verification is automated. Verification is performed entirely by automated systems. No human reviews a Verification. There is no human review, appeal, or reconsideration of a Verification outcome. The Terms of Service explain how outcomes work and what they do and do not determine.
4.2 Evidence is analyzed by artificial intelligence providers. The evidence a seller uploads is transmitted to third-party providers for automated analysis, and event details are transmitted to third-party event data sources.
4.3 Our requirements for every artificial intelligence provider we use. We require each provider to be engaged under terms that:
- prohibit the use of our users' data to train that provider's models;
- limit retention to what the provider needs for abuse monitoring and legal compliance;
- process data in the United States; and
- prohibit onward sharing of the data.
4.4 We may change providers. We may add, remove or change providers as the product changes. The requirements in Section 4.3 apply to every provider we use, and we will give notice of a material change in the categories of providers we use.
5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models, and we require our providers not to.
We share information with:
Our payment processor, to authorize, capture, and cancel payments, to onboard sellers, and to settle funds to sellers.
Automated analysis providers, to analyze verification evidence, as described in Section 4.
Event data sources, to look up event details. We send event name, venue, and date. We do not send your personal information to these sources.
Cloud hosting and storage providers, which store the Service's data and uploaded files.
Our authentication provider, to create and secure your account, to sign you in, and to send account verification and password reset emails.
Our email provider, to send waitlist and product emails if you have asked for them.
Analytics and product measurement providers, only where you have consented, as described in Section 8.
Your Counterparty, who sees the information necessary to complete the Transaction.
Professional advisers, and authorities, where we are required by law, where we need to establish or defend legal claims, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or fraud.
A successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
Uploaded evidence is deleted 180 days after upload.
Verification records are purged 180 days after the Verification completes.
Account information is kept while your account is open, and afterward only as long as needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute purposes.
Transaction records are kept as long as needed for those same purposes, including to respond to a payment dispute.
Our providers apply their own retention periods to data they hold, as described in their policies.
7. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND SESSION RECORDING
8.1 On our website, we use Google Analytics to measure visits and page use, and Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized sessions and produces heatmaps so we can see where the site is confusing. Both set cookies.
8.2 Clarity's text masking is enabled, so text you type is masked before it reaches us.
8.3 These load only if you accept. When you first visit, all analytics and advertising signals are set to denied. If you accept, analytics loads. If you decline, none of them load and the site works the same. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
8.4 We do not currently run advertising tags. If that changes, the banner and this Policy will say so before any advertising tag loads.

10. CHILDREN
The Service is not offered to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact hello@getpruva.com.

The Service is not offered to residents of California.

We do not sell personal information, do not share it for targeted advertising, and do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects beyond the Verification outcome described in Section 4 and in the Terms of Service.
12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service depends on third parties, including our payment processor, automated analysis providers, event data sources, cloud hosting and storage, authentication, email delivery, and analytics and product measurement providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email, and will update the effective date above.
